Election results were posted last night. I am humbled beyond words by the trust you have placed in me as your Council Member-elect.
I want to thank Council Member C.J. Harper for his many years of service to Jersey Village both as a law enforcement officer and as a member of our city council. He ran a tough, but fair and honorable, race.
Most of all, I want to thank the numerous neighbors who have helped me throughout this journey. Whether it was putting a campaign sign in your yard, speaking with neighbors about my campaign, or just offering some words of encouragement and advice, I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for your help over the past year. This journey has been the experience of a lifetime.
This is not the end, but just the beginning. It is time to roll up our sleeves and get to work for Jersey Village. I look forward to working with each of you and my colleagues on city council to realize our vision for the future of our community!
