Due to the flooding Jersey Village experienced on Monday, the regularly scheduled April meeting of the city council has been rescheduled for Monday, April 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jersey Village Civic Center.
I have posted the agenda below, which is mostly unchanged from the original agenda, with the exception of a proposed ordinance temporarily waiving permit fees for flood damage repairs. I would expect, however, that a number of citizens will be appearing for the citizen comment period in order to address the flooding issues. I’m hopeful that council members will be prepared to dispel many of the myths floating around about flood management in Jersey Village.
I would encourage anyone interested in how our city government works to attend this meeting.
