One can learn quite a bit from a candidate based on the identify of the people supporting them financially, as well as the number of supporters and the amount of each donation.  Under Texas law, candidates for office in Jersey Village are required to file reports with the city secretary on a semi-annual basis as well as 30 days before an election and 7 days before an election.

In the interest of transparency, I have requested from the city secretary the 30 day reports for the May 7th election and posted them here for any interested citizens to review for themselves:

PIR #128 – Andrew Mitcham – Campaign Finance Report Rec’d 04-07-16

PIR #128 – Bryan Engledow – Campaign Finance Report Rec’d 04-07-16

PIR #128 – Jill Klein – Campaign Finance Report Rec’d 04-06-16

PIR #128 – Mike Mauriello – Campaign Finance Report Rec’d 04-07-16

PIR #128 – Sheri Sheppard – Campaign Finance Report Rec’d 04-04-16

PIR #128 – Tom Eustace – Campaign Finance Report Rec’d 04-06-16

For whatever reason, there was no report available for Gary Wubbenhorst.

[UPDATE: April 25, 2016]: A subsequent public information request revealed that Mr. Wubbenhorst chose modified reporting due to the fact he intends to not accept more than $500 in political contributions, not expend more than $500 for his campaign.  Therefore, he was not required to submit the 30-day report listed for the other candidates above.  I have attached the relevant page of his Form CTA below:
